Introducing the all-new, all-aluminum 42 Fearless. This custom-built offshore battlewagon has been designed and built to fanatical military-spec standards by Metal Shark, a leading defense contractor to the US Armed Forces and its allies abroad.100% digitally designed, router-cut, and precision crafted from plates of 5086 aluminum alloy, Metal Shark’s fully-welded hulls are currently deployed across North and South America, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. With nearly 1,000 vessels in service worldwide, Metal Sharks have been proven to stand up to ‘round-the-clock use and abuse in the most unforgiving environments to be found.

Hull Design

The 42 Fearless boasts an advanced SVVT (stepped ventilated vee tunnel) running surface designed by renowned naval architect Michael Peters. Available with a wide range of propulsion options, the Fearless hull is quick to plane and delivers nimble handling and a smooth dry ride. The 42 Fearless comes standard with a 600-gallon fuel capacity for ample range, and its fully foam-filled aluminum hull crushes unruly seas that send other boats back to the dock. With a Metal Shark, you’ll never worry about gelcoat cracking, stringer rot, transom failures, or other issues that are all too common on fiberglass boats.

Deck Layout

Metal Shark’s 42 Fearless features an expansive non-skid cockpit that may be custom configured to suit a wide range of accommodations and needs. While in military or law enforcement trim the 42 Fearless would boast a wide-open cockpit floor covered in 3M Safety Walk non-skid, the vessel is shown here with upscale teak-finish flooring treatment throughout. The 42 Fearless boasts a full-height transom for safety, with oversized scuppers providing quick drainage for a true self-bailing cockpit. The vessel may be equipped with large port and starboard dive doors, and a wide range of seating options, including the available bow seating shown here.

Console

The 42 Fearless is shown here with a full console featuring ample room for the installation of electronics. Careful consideration has been given to helm ergonomics to assure that all controls are within easy reach of the operator at all times. This allows for easy, intuitive operation of the 42 Fearless, even at speed or in heavy seas. The console houses a roomy combination space with compact galley, head, and roomy berth area beneath the integrated forward sunpad. For military and law enforcement customers, other console arrangements are available. The vessel shown here boasts a full tower with upper station, adding another dimension of versatility.
