The versatile 23 Relentless is stout and substantial, yet compact and easily trailerable. The vessel’s efficient hull delivers outstanding speed, precision handling, and turns on a dime, with durable welded-aluminum construction that no fiberglass boat could match. Equipped with single or twin outboards for up to 400 total horsepower, the vessel is responsive and highly maneuverable yet handles predictably while operating at speed. Metal Shark is an OEM installer for all major engine brands and can equip the boat as required to suit virtually any customer preference.

The 23 Relentless boasts a no-nonsense arrangement designed for law enforcement operations. Evident characteristics include ample freeboard, wide gunnels and walkways, and a flat obstruction-free floor running from bow to stern.The vessel shown here was built as part of a fleet acquisition for Ohio Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and is representative of a 23 Relentless in LE configuration. Hatches are locking, weather-tight, and are sized to accommodate Pelican cases and other law enforcement gear. Low-level LED illumination is provided for operator safety during night missions. All walking surfaces feature non-skid for sure footing, and grab rails have been placed within easy reach.

The 23 Relentless has been fully optimized for law enforcement missions and offers all of the mission-enhancing features offered on our larger Relentless models. Shown here in full LE trim, the vessel features an oversized integrated hard top with drip rails and a full-height three-panel tempered glass windshield for weather protection and reduced operator fatigue. A full curtain enclosure may be added. The helm and overhead electronics pod have been ergonomically optimized, with vessel controls, switches, and electronics placed for easy, intuitive operation. A large weather-tight storage compartment with 12-volt USB power supply has been integrated into the dash to allow for the storage and operation of laptops and printers. For LE use, the entire helm area features glare-resistant matte finish blackout coating to enhance helm visibility in low-light conditions. Like all Metal Sharks, the 23 Relentless is a fully custom vessel that is built to order, so the customer may determine the dash components as well as their layout.

With their modular, flexible design, Relentless models offer seating arrangements that offer maximum fit and function for crews. A roll-up, shock-mitigating bolster seating option (shown) with integrated weapons storage provides coxswains and crew to independently choose to stand or to sit for shock-mitigated operation. The SHOXS S4 posts integrated into the seating option reduce fatigue and offer protection from violent vertical impacts in rough sea conditions. Vertical tactical weapons storage conveniently positioned in the backrest allows for quick access directly from the helm station. Two oversized lockable dry storage cabinets with adjustable shelves provide ample storage space for large duty bags and Pelican cases. Many other seating options are available. An additional seat and backrest have been integrated into the forward console, with locking storage beneath.

The 23 Relentless may also be configured as a fully custom fire rescue vessel. The vessel shown here was built for the City of Punta Gorda (FL) for dual-purpose police and fire rescue use.
